Parish Background
The Church began as a mission to Queens University students, in the home of the Zion family. On growing, it also met in a chapel at the University. Later, it became a house-church, then moved to a store-front in a strip-mall, and now, at the invitation of the Anglican parish (which built a new building), to the basement of their historic Church in the Cemetery where the first Prime Minister of Canada is buried. There is great promise that in due time the Anglicans will allow the Orthodox parish to use the whole of the Church. Slowly Orthodox witness in English grows in Kingston.
