Saturday of Cheesefare
Commemoration of All Departed Righteous Monastics
Home / Work of the Church / Liturgical Music and Texts /
The texts of the propers sung at Vespers (stichera on "Lord I call," Litya, Aposticha, Troparia and Kontakia that change daily according to either the day of the week or particular day of the month). Texts are "pointed" to be sung according to the tonal patterns of the Common Chant (L'vov-Bakhmetev Obikhod, 1869 edition). Texts are formatted in MS Word.
(For the weekdays of Lent, the dates of services are given as the date of the Menaion celebration, followed by the service listing and when it is sung. For example, those wishing to find the service text for the Presanctified Liturgy sung on the first Wednesday of Great Lent would find the service under March 6, where the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts is listed as “sung on Wednesday.”)
