Litya: 1 temple + the stichera of the saint (or all the stichera of the temple, if the saint is of the temple), and of the triodion (from the matins praises: O faithful, let us hate the boastful words of the Pharisee ... and: O Lord, You have condemned the Pharisee who justified himself ...) ; glory: saint; now: triodion (from the litya).

Aposticha: resurrection, with their verses; glory: saint; now: triodion. (If vigil is not served: resurrection; glory: saint; now: resurrectional theotokion in the same tone as troparion of the saint.)

Troparia: Rejoice (2x); Saint (1x) (If vigil is not served: resurrection; glory: saint; now: resurrectional theotokion in the same tone as troparion of the saint.)

The above order also applies if the Sunday of the Prodigal Son coincides with a saint having a vigil, or a saint of the temple. At litya, the order would be: 1 temple + the stichera of the saint (or all the stichera of the temple, if the saint is of the temple) + 3 from the triodion (from the matins praises: I come before You, O Lord, with the cry ...; Like the Prodigal I have wasted ...; and O good Father, I have departed ...); glory: saint; now: triodion (from the litya)

At vespers on the same day as the feast of the patron saint of a temple, the Leave-taking of the feast of the temple is observed under certain conditions.
