Vespers with Liturgy of the Presanctified (served Friday evening)

Lord, I Call: 2 triodion (idiomelon, sung 2x) + 4 martyrs (octoechos, of the tone of the week; found in a special section in the triodion) + 4 Theodore; glory: Theodore (Using as his instrument…); now: theotokion, the dogmatikon of the tone of the week.

Entrance without gospel. Prokeimenon and reading from Genesis; 2nd prokeimenon and reading from Proverbs.
Let my prayer arise… and the rest of the Liturgy of the Presanctified.

At the prayer before the amvon, the canon of intercession to St. Theodore. Before the kolivo we say Psalm 142, and the rest of the service (see the rubrics and the service books). Dismissal.

If there will be no Liturgy of the Presanctified on Friday, this order is followed:

Aposticha: triodion (idiomelon, sung 2x - taken from Lord, I call) + 1 to the martyrs, Blessed is the army of the heavenly King… (from the octoechos, tone 5, Monday morning); glory: Theodore (Tone 2, O thrice-blessed Theodore, rightly named Gift from God… - 4th sticheron of the saint at Lord, I call); now (same tone): All my hope I place in you, O Mother of God; keep me under your protection.

Troparia: St. Theodore; glory and now: resurrectional theotokion in the same tone: All beyond thought….
