On Monday morning, July 18, 2022, a few hours before the opening of the 20th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America, various diocesan assembly meetings were held.
On Monday evening, the 20th All-American Council opened in Baltimore, MD at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel with a Service of Prayer for the Opening of a Council, at which His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon, presided. Clergy and delegates from across North America gathered for the opening session, as Metropolitan Tikhon declared the official opening of the gathering.
