On Sunday, March 19, the Sunday of the Veneration of the Cross, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the Divine Liturgy at All Saints of America Orthodox Church in Alexandria, VA. In his homily, His Beatitude reminded the faithful of the centrality of the Cross in our lives and in our lenten journey. At the end of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Tikhon was greeted on behalf of the parish by Priest Alessandro Margheritino, parish acting rector and Secretary of the Orthodox Church in America. Fr. Alessandro thanked His Beatitude for his continuing guidance and archpastoral ministry, and for always being available to his flock.
