On the afternoon of Thursday, August 8, 2013, following the Divine Liturgy at Kodiak’s Holy Resurrection Cathedral, Metropolitan Tikhon, Archbishop Benjamin, clergy and pilgrims gathered at the Monk’s Rock Coffee House and Bookstore where they enjoyed fellowship and delicious food.
On Monday, August 8, 2005, hundreds of pilgrims traveled by tugboat to Spruce Island for the annual pilgrimage marking the feast of Saint Herman of Alaska. This year’s pilgrimage marked the 35th anniversary of Saint Herman’s glorification.
