Canada’s new Ambassador to the Russian Federation visits OCA Representation Church

Father Zacchaeus offers a tour of St. Catherine Church to Canadian Ambassador Sloan.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA [OCA/St. Catherine Church]—On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to the Russian Federation, His Excellency, Mr. John Sloan, visited Saint Catherine the Great Martyr Church - the Moscow Representation of the Orthodox Church in America.

Ambassador Sloan was welcomed by Archimandrite Zacchaeus, parish Dean and OCA Representative to the Moscow Patriarchate. After a tour of the church, they discussed a wide range of topics of mutual interest.

Archimandrite Zacchaeus also offered congratulations to the Ambassador on his appointment, wishing him success in his diplomatic mission.
