Church singing workshop to be held in Dallas
A workshop on Church singing will be held at Saint Seraphim Cathedral here October 19-21, 2007.
Reader John Edson, choir director at Saint Nicholas Church, Portland, OR, will lead the workshop. He received his BA in music education from Portland’s Columbia Christian College. He also received an MA in choral directing and vocal technique from the University of Portland, where he serves as an adjunct instructor in voice and piano. He has directed Saint Nicholas choir for over 10 years.
