Department of Christian Ed to hold workshop in Portland September 25
The Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Christian Education [DCE] will sponsor a workshop, “A Pan-Orthodox Vision of Christian Education,” at Saint Nicholas Church, 2210 SW Dolph Court, Portland, OR on Saturday, September 25, 2010.
The program, which will run from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., will focus on resources and techniques, age levels, learning styles and classroom groupings. DCE co-chairs, Matushka Valerie Zahirsky and Matushka Alexandra Safchuk, will present a wealth of resources, teaching techniques, and demo lessons on a variety of topics.
