Metropolitan Jonah celebrates the Great Feast of the Nativity and the Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, who in addition to his ministry as Primate of the Orthodox Church in America serves as Locum Tenens of the Diocese of the South, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Great Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord at Saint Seraphim Cathedral here on December 25, 2010. On Saturday, January 1, 2011, Metropolitan Jonah celebrated the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Circumcision of our Lord and the Feast of Saint Basil the Great at Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Washington, DC. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, he extended his deep deep desire for the well-being of all Orthodox Christian faithful and extended his archepiscopal blessing for ongoing ministry for the building up of the Church during the coming year.
