Metropolitan Jonah greets Primate of Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia in New York
On Sunday, February 27, 2011, His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, at the request of His Beatitude, Metropolitan Krystof of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, received His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, at his residence in New York. The meeting was held in a spirit of brotherly love and mutual understanding, as questions of common interest were discussed. During their exchange, Metropolitan Christopher invited Metropolitan Jonah to visit the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia.
The same day, Metropolitan Jonah was present as Metropolitan Krystof visited Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City.
