New installment of OCA young adult Wonder Blog blog explores the Oriental Churches

“The Oriental Churches” is the theme of the March 2011 installment of the OCA’s young adult blog, “Wonder,” now available at www.ocawonder.com. The installment explores the various Oriental traditions and explains the theological differences between the Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches.

Articles include “Christians in Egypt” by Mr. Sam Williams, “The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in India” by Father Samji George, “Some Thoughts on the Armenian Church” by Deacon Ryan Tellalian, and “A Larger Orthodoxy” by Dr. Peter Bouteneff.

“Wonder,” an on-line publication of the OCA’s Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, provides thought-provoking articles geared toward young adults and college students and those who minister to them.

The April 2011 installment of “Wonder” will focus on “Christianity and Partisan Politics,” while “Faith and the Creative Process” is the theme of the May installment.
