New seminary graduates hosted at OCA Chancery
SYOSSET, NY [OCA]—Two dozen seminarians and their families were welcomed to the Chancery of the Orthodox Church in America on Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Hosted by Archpriests Alexander Garklavs and Eric Tosi, Chancellor and Secretary, the seminarians represented the 2010 graduating classes of Saint Tikhon’s Seminary, South Canaan, PA, and Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, Crestwood, NY.

Fathers Alexander and Eric welcomed the seminarians and shared with them various matters that will affect those soon to be assigned to parishes.

Maureen Ahearn, OCA Pension Plan Administrator, also explained and fielded questions on the OCA Pension Plan, while Alexis Liberovsky, OCA Archivist, offered an informative tour of the archives.

All three OCA seminaries—including Saint Herman’s Seminary, Kodiak, AK—will conduct commencement exercises during the second half of May.
