ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN NETWORK [OCN]: INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE
The Orthodox Christian Network is offering six-month internships for undergraduate and postgraduate college students. Internships are available in a wide variety of areas, including but not limited to Come Receive the Light, internet radio station, audience insight and research, audio engineering, communications/marketing/branding, design, multimedia, broadcast library, reference library, podcasting, etc. All internships may be pursued locally. COME RECEIVE THE LIGHT: PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS ST. HERMAN’S SEMINARY
Come Receive the Light—the nationally syndicated radio program produced by the Orthodox Christian Network—will highlight St. Herman’s Seminary, Kodiak, AK during the last week of January. Archpriest John Dunlop, Dean, will discuss how the seminary shapes the clergy and lay leaders who continue Orthodox Christianity’s outreach to the people of Alaska, where the faith first took root on the North American continent. OCMC: CHURCH SCHOOLS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN MISSIONS THROUGH COIN BOX MINISTRY
The Orthodox Christian Mission Center is once again encouraging Church School students across the country to support the important work of Orthodox Christians missions through its Coin Box program. Many Church School students use their coin boxes to collect gifts for missions during the season of Great Lent, which begins this year on March 7. March 6 has been designed “Mission Sunday”—the perfect time to distribute coin boxes to students and adult parishioners alike.
