“Water and the Spirit” theme of new installment of OCA Young Adult “Wonder” blog
“Water and the Spirit” is the theme of the January 2011 installment of the OCA’s young adult blog, “Wonder,” now available at www.ocawonder.com.
Articles on the theme include “The Nature of Water is Sanctified” by Mr. William Kopcha; “Blessing Water, Homes, Fire Engines, and Beehives” by Archpriest Steven Belonick; “Water; Creation and Conservation” by Mr. David Wanik; and “Meeting Christ at the Well on Theophany” by Ms. Maria Simakova.
The installment in particular emphasizes the confluence of science and theology in the celebration of the feast of Theophany.
“Wonder,” a publication of the OCA’s Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, provides thought-provoking articles geared toward young adults and college students and those who minister to them.
