Eighth Anniversary of Election of Metropolitan Tikhon to Primatial Office
Today we celebrate the eighth anniversary of the election of His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon to be the Archbishop of Washington and Metropolitan of All America and Canada and the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America. The election was held during the 17th All American Council held at Holy Trinity Church in Parma OH, gathering nearly 600 delegates from across the United States. Canada, and Mexico. May God grant His Beatitude good health as he continues to guide our church!
