The February edition of “Wonder”—the on-line journal of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry—is now available.

This month’s theme, “The Gospel and the City,” features transcriptions of sermons delivered by Orthodox Christian participants in the recent Festival of Young Preachers in Atlanta, GA.

Ms. Anna Vander Wall reflects on Psalm 137 in her article, “Zion in Babylon.”  A student at Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, Harrison Russin, relates the theme to the first chapter of Genesis in “Out of the Garden, Into the City.”  Father James Parnell, a recently-ordained priest and Military Chaplain Candidate, also reflects on the iconic Psalm 137 in his article, “There are a Lot of Tears Out Here in Babylon.”  Andrew Boyd, OCA Youth Director, interprets the theme by looking at the first chapter of Acts in “Salvation in the Midst of the Earth.”

The theme of the March edition of Wonder—“Make Disciples of All Nations”—will focus on international and domestic missions. Deadline for submission is March 10.

As always, readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing, artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.  Suggested topics are always welcome. Send all materials and comments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
