OCA Chancery reopens
The Chancery of the Orthodox Church in America here reopened on Monday, November 5, 2012, after the restoration of electrical power over the weekend. Phone and internet service also has been restored.
Meanwhile, widespread power outages continue across the region, which continues to affect Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, the Chancery of the Diocese of New York and New Jersey, and numerous parishes. Saint Vladimir’s Seminary announced that the school will be closed through the end of this week.
Understandably, information from affected parishes has been sparse due to electrical and communications outages. Updates will be posted as they are received.
