Summary Report Released in Response to Metropolitan Tikhon’s Call for Reflection
The Orthodox Church in America has issued a summary report based on the submissions received in response to His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon‘s Call for Reflections.
A committee consisting of Archpriest Gregory Scratch, Priest Andrew Smith, Priest William Rettig, Dr. Rebecca Luft, and Matushka Sarah
Geana was tasked by His Beatitude with reading and analyzing the responses. The group produced a white paper that His Beatitude will use in his preparations for the All-American Council.
A summary report of the white paper’s findings is now being made available to the wider church as a tool for reflection ahead of the Council. A copy of the report may be downloaded below.
Clergy and lay delegates to the upcoming Council are urged to review this report, but clergy are also invited to share it with their parish councils and their communities at large.
