Video honoring late Archbishop Dmitri now posted
The video presentation recounting the life and ministry of His Eminence, the late Archbishop Dmitri, that was shown at the 16th All-American Council Grand Banquet is now available for viewing on the OCA web site.
Raised a Baptist in his native Texas, Archbishop Dmitri converted to Orthodox Christianity as a teenager. In addition to establishing and overseeing the Diocese of the South, he was a widely known author, scholar, and speaker.
Archbishop Dmitri fell asleep in the Lord on August 28, 2011, after nearly 60 years of ordained ministry.
