On Saturday, July 21, 2018, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon arrived in Saint Louis, MO, where he was warmly welcomed by members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, All-American Council participants, attendees at the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America’s 92nd annual national Convention participants, members of the AAC Local Planning Committee and clergy and faithful representing area parishes.
On Saturday evening, the hierarchs and faithful attended Great Vespers in the ballroom of the Saint Louis Union Station Hotel, which has been transformed into a beautiful chapel for the week. The historic hotel is the site of the 19th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America, which formally opens on Monday evening, July 23. The FOCA Convention met at the same hotel July 20-23.
