Saint Luke of Prusa was the third holy igumen at the monastery of the Savior, in Batheos Ryakos (near Triglia, Lykaonia). He died in peace.
The first holy igumen was Saint Basil, who died at the beginning of the ninth century (July 1 on the Greek calendar); the second holy igumen was Saint Ignatius (September 27).
The monastery was famed for the strictness of the ascetic life of its residents. Saint Luke died at the end of the tenth century.
