O invincible defender of the land of Kaluga from foreign enemies, / and merciful deliverer from deadly wounds; / rescue your servants from all misfortunes and sicknesses, / who turn to your wonderworking Icon with faith and love, / and save our souls.
Kontakion — Tone 6
We have neither prayerful hymns, nor words to praise you worthily, / O Mother of Christ our God, / for the appearance of your wonderworking Icon in the land of Kaluga. / We can only cry out to you: / “Do not withhold your mercy from us, / but pour it forth upon all who turn to your Icon, which bestows healing.”
