Deacon Christopher N. Meholick, age 65 of Reynoldsville, PA, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Montefiore Hospital.
Born on December 22, 1960 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Ronald E. and Katherine A. (Smith) Meholick. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives and lives in Sykesville.
On October 7, 1990, he married his wife of 35 years, Kira (Lukashevich) Meholick.
Deacon Christopher was a 1979 graduate of DuBois Central Christian High School.
He retired as a well-known technician from Comcast after many years of service.
Deacon Christopher was attached to Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in DuBois, PA. He was a well-known and well-loved entertainer and musician in the DuBois area. Deacon Christopher especially loved being a band member in the Onion Station.
In addition to his wife, Matushka Kira, and mother, Katherine, Deacon Christopher is survived by two children, Marina Meholick of Reynoldsville, PA, and Nicholas Meholick and his wife Sierra of Indiana, PA; siblings, Father Mark Meholick, John Meholick, and Catherine Stewart and her husband Thomas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren, whom he loved very much.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM from Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church, 301 South State Street, DuBois, PA. A Panikhida will be held on Monday evening at 7:30 PM to conclude the visitation. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Saint Nicholas Church with numerous clergy of the Archdiocese of Western Pennsylvania officiating.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Sykesville, PA.
