Matushka Barbara Stashkevetch fell asleep in the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Deacon Theodore Stashkevetch, in 1995, Matushka Barbara worked until her retirement at International Orthodox Christian Charities. She served as assistant choir director at Baltimore’s Saint Andrew Church, where she also was a member of the Vladicon O Club of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America and the parish’s Sisterhood. She was the devoted mother of Anne Greene and Amy Seidenstricker and the loving grandmother to her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Ruck Funeral Home, 1050 York Rd., Towson, MD from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6. The Panikhida will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Church, 2028 East Lombard St., Baltimore, MD on Monday, December 7. Interment will follow at Saint Andrew Cemetery, Dundalk MD.
