Matushka Patricia (Hamarich) Bohush fell asleep in the Lord on August 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Matushka Patricia was born in Endicott, NY to George and Pauline Hamarich.

Matushka Patricia was a sincere member of the Orthodox Church and stood by the side of her husband in his service to the Church and loved to sing in Church. She loved her family and friends dearly and enjoyed the countless trips with her husband and son to many parishes in the Diocese of New York and New Jersey and to Saint Tikhon’s Monastery and Seminary. Matushka Patricia was a graduate of Johnson City High School and Broome Tech and worked for H&R Block during the tax season. She was an avid reader and loved to vacation at Walt Disney World and Colonial Williamsburg.

Matushka Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Deacon Mark and loving son Andrew. Matushka Patricia is also survived by her siblings George Jr. (Barbara) Hamarich, Paula (Ronald) Murphy and her baby sister Mary (Daniel) Binkewicz, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Matushka Joanna Bohush, Matthew and Kristine Bohush. Nieces and Nephews, Scott (Jennifer), Bill (Danielle); Sarah, George, Joseph; Paul, Melissa (Bryan), Kristen, Jessica; Tatiana, John (Anastasia); Mary, great nieces and nephews, Alexander, Samantha, Taylor, Matthew, and Dean and four wonderful and cherished great nieces and nephew, Mackenzie, Meredith, Natalia, and John-John and many cousins.

Matushka Patricia was predeceased by her parents George and Pauline, father-in-law and mother-in-law Archpriest John and Matushka Mary-Ann and brother-in-law Priest John and several aunts, uncles, and her cousin John.

Calling hours will be at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church 200 Hill Avenue Endicott, NY on Sunday August 7 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Panikhida/Memorial Service at 7:00 PM and Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:00 AM with His Eminence Archbishop Michael presiding. Interment will be at Saint Tikhon’s Monastery Cemetery, South Canaan, PA immediately following the Funeral Service. Clergy are invited to serve at the services, white vestments.
