Popadia Marilyn Nedelkoff, wife of the late Archpriest George Nedelkoff fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 94.

Born Marilyn Theodoroff in Youngstown, OH, she and her husband of 61 years were married at Holy Ghost Church there on December 18, 1949. The following year Father George was ordained to the priesthood. Popadia Marilyn selflessly assisted in Father George’s ministry serving parishes in Youngstown, and Akron, OH; Pittsburgh, PA, and Saint Nicholas Church, Fort Wayne, IN, where he was the first and longest serving rector, leading the parish for 36 years until his retirement.

In addition to her tireless devotion to the Church, Popadia Marilyn was a longtime member of the Macedonian Patriotic Organization. Marilyn also worked for many years as secretary to the editor of the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel. She is predeceased by her husband, Father George, and her son, Dimiter (Danny) Nedelkoff.
