Priest Sergius Willis fell asleep in the Lord here on Saturday, July 26, 2014.
Attached in retirement to Saint Herman of Alaska Church, Gradyville, PA, Father Sergius was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood at the Monastery Church of Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk, South Canaan, PA, in June 2001.
Father Sergius will lie in state at Saint Herman of Alaska Church, Gradyville, PA, on Wednesday July 30, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The Service of the Burial of a Priest will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m. A repast will follow in the Church Memorial Hall.
On Thursday, July 31, 2014, services will be celebrated in the Monastery Church of Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk, South Canaan, PA, followed by interment in the monastery cemetery.
