Protodeacon Nicodemus Myers fell asleep in the Lord on April 29, 2022.
Protodeacon Nicodemus was born on May 12, 1962 in Pilot Station, AK. He married his wife, Judy, on July 10, 1984. After earning a diploma from Saint Herman’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in 1996, he was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in 1997 at Transfiguration Chapel, Pilot Station, AK. During his ministry he was assigned to a number of parishes including Holy Resurrection in Kodiak, Saint Innocent Cathedral in Anchorage, and the Transfiguration of our Lord Church in Pilot Station. In 2013, he was elevated to the rank of Protodeacon.
