Archpriest Angelo Estrada-Rea fell asleep in the Lord here in retirement on April 25, 2016.
Born in Spain in 1931, Father Angelo received his Master of Divinity degree from Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, Yonkers, NY in 1970. He was ordained to the priesthood the same year.
Among other assignments, he served as Rector of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Meridan, CT from 1974 until 1984, when he was transferred to Holy Assumption Church, Stamford, CT, where he served until his retirement.
